In the international search, one of the defendants of the criminal case of the so-called gang of employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB) - Tyumen Sergei Zozulya was announced. According to the investigation, he was involved in committing murders and robbery as part of a group of active and former employees of the special services. According to the investigation, the siloviki and their accomplices extorted money from businessmen under the threat of death, killed taxi drivers and guest workers. The case against the remaining members of the group is at the final stage of the investigation.

The main military investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Russia initiated the international search for a resident of Tyumen, Sergei Zozuly. In his dossier, marked with a "red corner" (a request for detention and immediate extradition), it is noted that he is wanted for a murder committed by an organized group, as well as robbery. According to "Kommersant", Sergei Zozulya appears in the criminal case of the so-called gang of officers of the FSB in the Tyumen region.

Since 2016, GVSU investigators have investigated the criminal case against FSB lieutenant Alexei Korotkov, his colleague ensign Yevgeny Gladkikh, the sambo trainer Siloviki Alexander Kobylin and the unemployed Sergei Sinyakova. All the defendants were charged with murder (Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), robbery (Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), hooliganism (Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and kidnapping (Article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), depending on the role of each of them, . Also on the case were the captain of the FSB Vladimir Gilev and Tyumen Sergei Zozulya (formerly served in the Interior Ministry system). With regard to the capital of Gilev, the criminal case was dismissed due to the fact that he died in the SIZO, was found in a cell with a cut throat. With regard to Sergei Zozuli, the criminal case was separated into a separate proceeding due to the fact that he disappeared from the investigation. As a result, he was first declared a federal, and then an international wanted list.

According to investigators GVSU of the TFR, the accused from 2008 to 2016 attacked local businessmen connected with illegal business - nuggets. To do this, they intimidated their victims. In particular, there is one episode in the case materials, where the band members abducted the migrant worker, dressed him in a business suit and were brought to a meeting with a victim of extortion. There, in front of a businessman, they shot a guest worker. In addition, the group members once stole a safe from one of the commercial companies in Tyumen, and also reported a false mining of the Tyumen restaurant "Contrabas" in January 2016.

The accused killed several Tyumen taxi drivers to steal their cars for other crimes. It was during the investigation of resonant murders of taxi drivers that the detectives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs managed to reach the members of the group. After it became known about the participation in the group of active officers of the regional FSB (they worked in special forces - OSOM), the case was transferred from Tyumen to the central headquarters of the GVSU of the TFR. In the management of the FSB in the Tyumen region was personnel cleaning - from their posts the leaders of several divisions headed by the head of the department, General Vadim Pyatiletov, left.

Contact with the defenders of the accused failed. According to "Ural-Ural", all the participants in the investigation gave a subscription on non-disclosure. At the moment it is known that the other defendants of the case began to get acquainted with the indictment and other materials of the investigation. Until the end of the year the investigation plans to send a criminal case to the court for consideration on the merits.
