The daughter of the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, 21-year-old Elizaveta told about her internship at the office of the pro-Russian MEP from France Emeric Shepard. According to her, besides the positive moments, she had to face negative ones, in particular with discrimination and hypocrisy of European politicians. At the same time, she noted that during her practice she had learned a lot and rethought a lot, and after her internship she will move to Russia to get a master's degree in international relations.

“In addition to the positive moments, there were also negative ones, such as discrimination, hypocrisy (I am speaking now about the world of politics), as well as many other things that you see with your own eyes that you encounter only in practice,” Peskova wrote on Instagram.

Elizaveta Peskova admitted that the political environment was much more interesting for her than marketing (she had previously been an intern at the French fashion house Louis Vuitton). She also noted that during the practice she managed to learn a lot, to gain experience and to meet very interesting people. “It was a unique opportunity to explore a foreign institution from the inside, as well as to see with my own eyes the“ cuisine ”of the heart of Europe,” Peskova shared.

Speaking about her duties, which she had to perform during her internship, she stressed that they depend on the instructions of the deputy of the European Parliament. “Work can range from photocopying and writing emails to recordings during meetings of committees, documentary studies and organizing various trips. First of all, it is necessary to be a universal employee, ”said Peskova and clarified that“ a common culture, personal qualities, including stress tolerance, attentiveness and sociability, and knowledge of foreign languages is more important for an employer than a diploma.

According to her, thanks to an internship at the European Parliament, "she came up with many ideas for personal projects." “I realized that I wanted to change direction, move to Russia and get a master’s degree in international relations,” she concluded.

In the summer of 2017, Elizaveta Peskova worked at the Association of Entrepreneurs for the Development of Business Patriotism “Avanti”, headed by a businessman from Chechnya, Umar Dzhabrailov. The company said that she was engaged in including the development of youth entrepreneurship. At the end of February 2019, it became known that the daughter of the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov is undergoing an internship at the European Parliament. The deputies from Latvia and Lithuania were outraged by this fact and demanded to ban her internship. The MEP who practiced Peskov, noted that the girl does not work either in private or in public institutions of Russia, so "there can be no conflict of interests in the fulfillment of his mandate as a deputy to the European Parliament."
