But she is not the only heiress to the presidential press secretary: Dmitry Peskov has five children. Sofia Savina looks into their business patriotism, influential Chechen friends and undeclared American real estate.

Peskov’s eldest son Nikolai was born in 1990 to his first wife, Anastasia Budennaya, the granddaughter of Marshal of the Soviet Union Semyon Budennyi.

Nikolai, who took his mother’s last name Choles, grew up in London and moved to Russia five years ago. In 2012, he joined the Russian Army's rocket forces, participating in the Victory Parade on Red Square. He then went to work for Russian television channel Russia Today.

Nikolai’s Facebook still lists Russia Today as his place of work, however, his last post was in 2012, when he discussed the souvenirs of the Olympics in Sochi in 2014. Pointing to teddy bears, leopards and hares, the correspondent said: "For me, they are all cute."

Nikolay also has one more job listed on Facebook, creative director for Fight Nights, a mixed martial arts tournament. He has several photos with Fight Nights fighters on his page. However, on the official website of the company there is no information about an employee named Nikolai Choles.

According to the Anti-Corruption Foundation, it was Magomedov who paid for the honeymoon of Peskov and his spouse Tatiana Navka in 2015. They spent this time on the word's biggest  Maltese Falcon yacht, which cost 26 million rubles per week.

Elizaveta Peskova remarked about her brother, "He worked on RT as a journalist, was a reporter, now he is doing business." One Russian company is actually registered to Nikolai Dmitrievich Choles, LLC Modern technologies, an energy sector construction company focused on “electricity transmission”. The company was created recently, in February 2017. Nikolai is not so noticeable in public space as his sister. He is fond of hunting and equestrian, travels a lot and spends time with Dmitry Peskov’s other children. In 2014 he attended the celebration of Tatiana Navka’s birthday, the current wife of the press secretary.

The publication The Insider reported that in 2014, Nicholas Choles was prosecuted for beating his grandmother Inesa Budennaya. However, within a couple of days the case was recalled "for lack of corpus delicti."
